In early 2009, I moved to sunny South Florida with my wife, Dr. Dawn Menge, and our three little boys. We came from cold, snowy upstate New York and we are delighted to be in South Florida.  I graduated from McMaster University with a bachelor of science degree in 1993 and received my doctorate from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1997. My wife and I operated a clinic in Rochester, NY for 11 years.  When we decided to head for warmer climates, Florida was a natural choice.  Dawn’s sister, Debby Murphy, a PGA and LPGA golf professional at Trump National Golf Club, has lived in South Florida for the last 29 years.  We have all been enjoying ourselves and have also been getting great golf tips from Aunt Debby!    

My approach to chiropractic is, in a word, comprehensive.  I utilize full spine adjusting, physical therapy, exercise physiology, and Active Release Technique and Applied Kinesiology.  ART or Active Release Technique, www.activerelease.com is an advanced soft tissue technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.  Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.  I had an invaluable experience when I apprenticed with Dr. Leahy for 9 months in Los Gatos, California developing my ART skills back in 1997.

In 2006, due to the needs of our youngest child,  I  was introduced to an allergy therapy that changed his and our lives forever.  Soon after our son had an incredible healing experience, we started using this exciting new therapy with our patients who suffer from allergy symptoms.  This treatment has helped numerous children and adults who have experienced relief from plants and pollen allergy symptoms; allergy symptoms to dust mites, molds, and pet dander; and food allergy symptoms as well.  Please ask me for more information, and you can also contact our office for an opporutnity to attend a presentation of this incredible and simple approach to allergy symptom elimination.

I have worked with many elite sport teams such as various golf professionals, and professional baseball players.  Here in Florida I have continued to work with celebrity groups such as wrestlers with the WWE, dancers from “Dancing with the Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance”, and various notable rock groups such as the Back Street Boys, Aerosmith, and Motley Crue.
